Mobile Equine Veterinary Care

Ledford Veterinary Services was founded by Dr. Jeffrey Ledford in 2023. Dr. Ledford has been practicing on horses since he graduated from veterinary school. He has been providing mobile veterinary care to horses in the Lubbock community since 2019. He founded this mobile equine practice, providing care for horses in Lubbock, TX, Lubbock’s surrounding communities, and Eastern New Mexico to address the growing equine veterinary medical crisis.

Statistics indicate that fewer and fewer veterinary students are entering equine veterinary practice upon graduation, and higher rates of equine practitioners are permanently leaving the equine veterinary field every year. Our goal is to offer your horse quality medical care. We aim to do so in an honest and trustworthy manner. We strive to educate and empower our clients to make decisions in the best interest of their horse and their situation. We want to build long-lasting relationships with our clients.
